Each conference is approximately four hours long and has been accredited for 4CPD points by the HPCSA. Anyone who is a member of the HPCSA will be entitled to earn points. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO ACCREDITATION NUMBER FOR SOCIAL WORKERS, HOWEVER WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED THAT SOCIAL WORKERS MAY KEEP THEIR CERTIFICATES AS PART OF THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROFILES.
You may stop and start the conference at your own leisure but it must be completed within the dates advertised. Once the link expires, you will no longer have access to view the conference videos.
As soon as your credit card payment or instant EFT has been processed by PAYFAST, you will then need to request a personalized conference viewing link. In order to receive your SACE or HPCSA CPD certificate, you will be required to complete an online questionnaire with the Smile eCademy. This link will be sent to you once you have watched the full conference. You will not receive an HPCSA or SACE certificate WITHOUT completing the relevant questionnaires.
In order to fill in your questionnaire you will first have to register with the Smile eCademy. Clear instructions will be given when you arrive at that point. Please read and watch these instructions carefully.
Please note it can take up to an hour for the Smile eCademy to send you the link after the video has been completed.
It is NOT compulsory to fill out the questionnaire unless you want the CPD or SACE points. Conferences may also be watched for learning purposes only.
